$150 buys a finished build. The rest comes only after you approve it.
Westmark builds and looks after websites for contractors. $499 in total, and the first $150 pays for a full working build of your site plus a written plan, both delivered to you before anything further is asked for. $149 a month after it launches, with no contract and no sales call at any point.
Word of mouth hands over a name, not a customer
A recommendation gets you a name. That is the whole transaction: somebody says your name to somebody else, once, and on their end it is finished.
What happens on your end starts later that evening, when the person who heard it looks you up. Not to compare options. To check that the one name they were given is real.
That check takes a few seconds, on a phone, at night, with nobody there to answer questions. A page that loads slowly, or looks abandoned, or puts the phone number in a picture instead of a link, ends the sequence right there.
The recommendation already did the hard part. The site's only job is to not lose the person word of mouth already sent you.
This buys a website, not a promise about your phone.
Four pages, one form, one number

Delivered, then billed
$499to build the site, one time
- $150 starts the work. It pays for a full working build of your rebuilt site and a written plan for it, both emailed to you.
- $349 is the balance. Never charged, invoiced or asked for until you have seen that finished site and said go ahead.
- Live on your own domain within two business days of that.
- Your current site stays up and untouched until that exact moment.
$149a month, optional, after it launches
- Hosting, upkeep, and any change you ask for.
- Optional, and separate from the build. Keeping the site with us is a decision you make after launch, on its own. The $499 build does not roll into it.
- Billed monthly until you cancel. No contract and no minimum term.
The build is one fixed process rather than billed hours. Every price is stated in writing before anything is paid, and the payment page is Stripe's own.
Leaving takes one email
Send an email, at any time, for any reason or none. That is the whole process. Work stops, and the files and the domain come back promptly, with nothing held back and nothing delayed beyond anything already due for work that was delivered.

- The domain stays yours whether you register it or ask us to manage it, and it comes back to you whenever this ends. Terms 5

The gallery link on your Services page pointed somewhere that no longer exists. Fixed it Tuesday. Nothing else needed doing this month.
Covered
- Hosting, with your domain pointed at it correctly
- Any change you ask for by email: new hours, new prices, new photos, a page added, a page taken down
- The monthly check above, and the fix for anything it turns up
- A short plain note on what was checked and what was fixed
- Cancel by replying to any email, confirmed the same day
Not covered, on purpose
- Ranking reports. That data belongs to Google, not to us.
- Backlinks. The cheap kind breaks Google's own written rules on link schemes.
- A package to move you up the search results. For being found nearby, your Google Business Profile and your reviews carry more weight than your website does. Neither one is a website job.
- Ads. We do not run them and we do not take a cut of anybody's ad budget.
Three working days to a working site
- You pay the $150 and answer one short email: photos if you have them, your logo, who your customers are. About twenty minutes of your time.
- The full site is due within three working days, at a private link, with the written plan attached to the same email.
- You reply with whatever you want changed. Changes come back the same day.
- You approve it, pay the $349, and it is live on your own domain within two business days.
- Your old site stays up and untouched the whole time, right up until the new one replaces it.
- Anything you find in the first week after launch goes on the punch list and is fixed before the job is called done.
If the build and the plan are not with you within 30 working days of us having what we need from you, the $150 comes back in full. Any day spent waiting on you for photos, text or domain access does not count against that clock, and you are told exactly what is being waited on.
Questions, answered straight
This is cheaper than everywhere else, and there is no contract. What is the catch?
The price is what it is because the build is one fixed process rather than billed hours. The no contract part follows the same logic: the site and the domain are yours from the first day, so there is nothing to hold over you, and an email ends it.
Most of my work comes from word of mouth. Why do I need this?
Word of mouth keeps doing exactly what it already does, and nothing here changes that. What it does not cover is the few seconds after somebody hears your name and looks it up that same night. The site is what they find.
How do I know it will be any good before I pay the rest?
You see the whole finished site first. The $150 pays for a full working build and a written plan, sent to you. The $349 is not requested until you have looked at it and said go ahead.
What happens to my current site while the new one is being built?
It stays up and untouched. Nothing changes on your end until the new site is approved and live on your domain.
